What is a Moving Beyond Career Club?

Moving Beyond Career Clubs offer each member a structured supportive atmosphere for anyone seeking to “move beyond” their barriers to finding fulfilling employment.

How Often Does the Club Meet?

Each club has a 10-week program teaching the latest in what it takes to get a leg up on the competition in today’s job market.

What Can I Learn By Joining a Club?

You’ll learn how to use social media to find new contacts and stand out to prospective employers. You’ll also discover new ways to network and how to target your message to reflect the best you have to offer.

How Many People Can Participate?

Based on the curriculum provided by career expert Tory Johnson, CEO of Women for Hire, and author of Fired to Hired, Moving Beyond Career Clubs are limited to a maximum of 15 members to provide a friendly atmosphere in which every member is heard.

What is a Waggle and Why is that Important?

Women for Hire is the founding organization for WaggleForce, a national network of career clubs which connect through the Internet. A “waggle” is the collaborative dance honeybees do to locate resources for the group. Job clubs operating in a similar fashion as they work diligently for the greater good of the group and it’s members.

What is the Membership Like?

Members of career clubs come from a variety of work backgrounds and share tips and tricks with each other during the club sessions and in between. You will be called upon to bring your talents to the group as well as take away knowledge in your quest to move beyond to the next level of your employment odyssey.

So, How Much Does this Cost?

We charge a nominal fee which covers the learning materials and ensures each member is invested in their success. Clubs meet at convenient times and locations. Even if you are currently working, you’ll be able to fit Moving Beyond into your schedule. A limited number of scholarships are available for those with the greatest need. When Does the Next Group Meet?
